It all starts here....

The human being can survive for years without shelter, weeks without food, days without water, but try to lock someone with all three in a room, see how long he survives! Ever thought about a day when there won’t be anyone to listen to you, no one who you can talk to, no one to express your heart out to. Unimaginable right?

Well that, sitting on a rooftop of this lonely hostel building, wind blowing dirt into the tiny little spaces between the keys, with an AMAZING view of the seaside right in front of me, truly, all i need, is someone to talk to!

I see in a house adjoining this building, a mother who is bathing her son ... Which makes me wish I had the kind of bandwidth to upload video..!! I scream out to her with my camera in my hand, "auntyyyyy jiii...... ekkkk photo kheench loon??" ("aunty can i take a picture!!??" ) .. Alas! they don't understand my language.. so I use sign language! Her smile in response and a "picture-perfect" pose tells me its a yes...! I wait for them to forget I'm clicking and...

With all this going on I am reminded of the hot summers in Punjab, 10 years ago, when I used to sit under the shower for ages, eyes shut and making it sound like rain by closing my ears! Then follow up with a nice massage by utterly fast flowing "Taaza Paani" from the tap on my head! Those were the days!

And sometimes all you can do, is sit down and reminisce, thinking how true it was, when people to tell you that childhood is the best part of life, and you still wanted to be grown ups and rule the world, thinking they got to do everything their way and didn't have to get bossed around, or told to do things they didn't want to! Little did we know that once we enter a stage where we're supposed to be in control of our life, it all seems uphill..
Little did we know..........

Oh God! I'd been thinking so much about what to write on my blog, and this is what I end up doing! Well that's what I think makes a blog - a blog!

Lets just finish off for the day here, it's getting dark and I'm better off without all the insects now clinging to the screen .... see you all very soon again!

God Bless You All...

Loads of luv.....

Hey People.. I plan to have a discussion for each blog entry.. let this blog's discussion be --- Childhood Memories !

Childhood is a wave, on which
the privileged like us
ride past 'those' years of life,
observing each thing as a 'toy' to play with...
judging things by their beauty...
seeing what is beautiful...
and playing what we like.

coz we are not those who are to judge.. who are to decide..

But what if we dont forget that innocence, and be that child,
forever.. ?
We dont need these memories, when we can live in 'childhood' forever...

But is it possible in a world so tough, so full of competition, with survival so difficult ?

I leave you with this thought..

thats kinda THE THING to do i guess.. bt aftr a point of time ... i guess its not all that easy to pursue.. i mean... whats the point if u actually have to "pursue" it.. and its not internal! we have to take up responsibilities and all that i think makes us lose the innocence in our lives.. bt we appreciate childhood more aftr that i guess,,,

just a thought...

So LOVELY, filled with the innocence of the thoughts of a wandering mind and the passion of a budding adult..!!
